Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and Workforce (ODEW) Scholarships: Renewal/Request Form and proof of address are required for application. Financial information is needed for Expansion or to be considered for low income status.
- Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program: This scholarship is administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and is available to families who live in the City of Cleveland.
- Traditional EdChoice Scholarship: This scholarship is administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and is available to families who live in a district that has failing schools (ex.: Garfield Heights, Bedford).
- EdChoice Expansion Scholarship: This scholarship is administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and is available to all Ohio families. Full scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year were $6166. Families whose income is above 450% of the poverty level will be awarded a percentage of the full scholarship.
- Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship: This scholarship is administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and is available to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship is based on the primary disability condition identified on the Evaluation Team Report (ETR).
Diocese of Cleveland Scholarships: Application Form and FACTS Grant & Aid required:
- Fund-a-Dream: The Diocese of Cleveland offers a $2500 scholarship garnered from generous donors from across the Diocese. Only a small number of our students meet the criteria for this scholarship. If you qualify, an application has been included in your packet. Deadline for application is March 15.
- Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA): The Diocese of Cleveland offers financial aid garnered from generous donors from across the Diocese. Apply at FACTS GRANT & AID. Deadline for application is March 15. EVERY FAMILY IS ASKED TO APPLY FOR DIOCESAN TUITION.
- Angel Scholarship Fund: The Diocese of Cleveland is a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) that serves as a clearing house for funds donated as a result of an Ohio tax credit and designated for St. Thomas More. Low-income applicants (at or below 300% of the poverty level) will be prioritized. Once this need is met, non-low-income applicants are able to receive an Angel Scholarship. All awards will be based on financial need. Please complete one application per student. Link to apply. Deadline for application is March 15.
St. Thomas More Local Tuition Assistance: FACTS Grant & Aid required:
- St. Thomas More Local Tuition Assistance: Funds from the weekly offertory, fundraising efforts, and an anonymous donor assist families unable to pay the full tuition. Application for Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) is required for this scholarship. Deadline for application is March 15.
- St. Thomas More Referral Program: If someone lists your name as having recommended STM, and they remain at STM for a whole semester, a credit to cover your $100 re-registration fee will added to your FACTS account.
