The school clinic exists for the treatment of minor cuts and bruises, and to confirm the illness of a student. The nurse/health aide will provide immediate care for those who become ill or injured during school hours. Health appraisals, vision, hearing and postural screenings are conducted. When a student does not pass a screening procedure, parents are advised to consult their family physician for further evaluation.
