Hello boys, girls, parents, and all visitors! I am excited to start another year as your computer teacher!
A little about me: I received my Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine; with a minor in philosophy and a minor in teaching. Before moving to California I attended St. Wenceslas School for 10 years then Trinity High School for 4 years, and have many fond memories of my catholic school education. I have been married for five years and have one son, who was born this past March as a preemie, 3 1/2 months early. He is strong, happy, and thriving thanks to the prayers of all our St. Thomas More students and families. I also have two fur-babies, a 5 year-old shepherd mix and a 4 year-old victorian bulldog; both whom I love very much.
I belong to St. Albert the Great parish in North Royalton, where I am also a Sunday School teacher, PSR teacher, Eucharistic Minister, and Lector. I also enjoy traveling, road trips, photography, and babysitting my niece and nephews. Computers and technology has always been one of my personal interests. I try to stay up-to-date with the changing world of technology by purchasing new and interesting devices and programs as they become available (or at least researching these devices). I also believe that all students should become well-versed with different technological devices and how to safely take advantage of everything that St. Thomas More has to offer. I firmly believe in a Catholic School education, and believe in educating children about their faith all day long, even during computer class.
